We were starting to get a little concerned about the lack of dolphins this season. We figure that over fishing could be the cause. We were also staggered at the lack of leisure craft out on the water. Most days we felt like we were the only boat “out there". There would be absolutely nothing for as far as we could see for hours on end.

The exception on our passage to Tiros was a kyack with two people paddling like crazy crossing to the island of Spetsis. They had perfect conditions - no wind and a very flat sea – but it was a fair old trek !!! Plus a few “ flying fish “ . They fascinate me as they leap out of the water, fly for a few yards and then dive back into the sea.

We tied onto the quay, again no water or electricity available so the only thing to do was find a bar and drink ouzo !!
