Still out here!

10 June 2014
Angie
We couldn't get our last update to send. We are still out here and doing well. We are headed to Bahia Asuncion. We are having trouble getting the engine into forward gear. When we finally get it in gear, the engine room gets so smoky we have to shut down the engine. This is not the end of the world since we are a sailboat, but there's not always wind. Also, we can only charge the batteries using wind and solar, so we ran out of batteries last night. We are hoping to get some engine assistance at Bahia Asuncion, which also has an internet cafe, so we should be able to communicate better for a while. Wish us luck! The kids are dreaming of Chinese food and filtered water with ice in it. They were standing on the bow yesterday watching dolphins, sharks, and birds talking about how much better this boat trip is than Silverwood. :)

About:
Zahn is 14 and fast. How fast? 12.47 on the 100m dash, makes him a little less than 4 seconds slower than the current standing world record. If he was running with Usain Bolt, he'd be right on his heels. Zahn is the Flag Officer, and all around awesome. Ava, is 8, going on 16. [...]
