We have decided to use the quaint hotel in Lanquin as home base for another night and visit Semuc Champey. Bob and Trish have been there several times so, when they were willing to go again, we thought it must be good to be a multiple do-over. Wow. Now the place is very impressive from the ground level, an underground river with terrific force finding its way to the surface in places through limestone rock and creating numerous levels of crystal clear blue pools. Then if you take the somewhat strenous hike to the mirador (lookout) it´s a double WOW WOW!
