Here are a few images of the boat before the refit, as well as the agreed new layout.

I haven't included Dudleys drawings etc as I may be contravening some or other copyright....and I want to stay on his good side in case I need to try pick his brain : ))
If you want to see more of his stuff go check out his website http://www.dixdesign.com

Ok, so I admit, i am not a boat designer, and there are probably many things that some will take issue with, but this is a work in progress.

The boat was originally built in Hout Bay by Brian Alcock, and launched as 'Sunlord'.
We believe that she has a somewhat chequered history involving a consortium, an artist/s and the Caribbean. There is also talk of a Mini Cooper being taken to the Caribbean in the cargo hold.....?

If anyone can shed more light - details details please - it would be appreciated.

Our needs haven't really changed since we started this process in 2011.
We still want to do the Caribbean, the Baltic, Scandinavian region, the USA, the South America's, Galapagos, the 'East', Aus and NZ.....etc etc etc

And how long do we have in which to do this ?
Until Giselle throws me overboard I suppose : ))

Obviously there is HUGE debate as to whether this is the correct 'type' and size of boat. Only time will tell but for now, this is what we love, and what we have.....
