Exumas Paradise

We had an uneventful run to Nassau and chose to stay right in town for the convenience of topping up our provisions and leaving ASAP while the weather was good. We hadn't been there for 5 years and it was fun looking at the monstrous cruise ships and Atlantis from a distance and reminding ourselves how much we appreciate being able to see the Bahamas the way we see them.
We got to Allen's Cay on February 15th. Dave's goal was to be in the Exumas by his birthday on the 19th. Mission accomplished! He appreciates all the birthday wishes and apologizes for not responding (No signal).
We decided to spend a little more time in the Northern Cays this time. Despite this being our 4th trip, we saw a lot of unspoiled beauty in parts of the Exuma Land and Sea Park that we hadn't spent enough time in previously. We continue to marvel at the colors of the water here.
After over a week in the Park with no phone or internet signal, we wanted to touch base with friends and family and get updated weather. We moved down to Staniel Cay for a few days, reconnected and took some long walks. We'll hold off visiting the swimming pigs and snorkeling the Thunderball Grotto until our company comes, starting Monday. Today we are at Black Point on Great Guana Cay, doing laundry and getting ready for visitors!
