We sailed and motored some, well, mostly sailed but about two and a half hours before sunset, and about 12 miles to go I decided to motor since we were only making 4 knots on a run. We had sailed for about 4 hours at 2 or less knots as the winds were very light. This is usually the case from about 11 am to about 3 pm I am finding. Then the afternoon winds kick in and it is good. We got to the anchorage at Matachen Bay and it had a few boas in it already. It is a large slowly shallowing bay. Anchoring on the West side nearest the palapa restaurants in about 15 feet of water with a good holding bottom we set up for the night.
