I know you guys think it's always perfect here, but it has been rainy and squally all day. So, we are waiting till Monday to leave Fakarava and head on to Toau, our next stop. It is a whole 30 or so miles, but why beat yourself up when you don't have to?? Anyway, we plan to head around there on Monday into what is actually a false pass. It doesn't actually go into the atoll. It looks like it on google earth, until you look real closely. About 40 people live there and that's it. It shouldn't be a long stop, but you know how that goes. The diving is supposed to be really special and there is a family there that caters to cruisers.
So we'll update you from there. Back to the land of no real internet again. It's funny how when you are away from it for a week or two that you forget about it, but then you get back to an anchorage like this one and it's like crack all over again.
That's it for now. We'll update soon. -- with Kim Watford
