On a mooring in Anse Amyot!!!

Steve
Just arrived in Anse Amyot after a rather challenging day sailing. One of those days when the forecast/GRIBS are totally hosed. Must have gotten rained on 10 different times today and each squall brought wind shifts that made my job a lot harder. Wind speeds ranged from 6 knots to 30+ knots and the seas were all over the place.
But, we are here and actually tied to a mooring ball. Don't think that has happened since the BVI's. Not sure though. Arrived later than planned so we'll put the dink in the water tomorrow. Right now, a Hinano and Kim's black beans and rice. One of my favorites.
Tomorrow hope to get in the water and check out the reefs around here. This place is unique in that it isn't really a pass. It looks like one when you come in, but it is all cutoff from the inside of the atoll by a reef that is inches deep. You cannot enter the atoll from here.
We'll let you know.
