We had a motor sail, banging into 2-3 foot chop all the way to Staniel Cay, but we made it and got the anchor down in Big Major's Spot around 4 PM. On Friday we went into town and got our phone card and had our scheduled call to Lisa. She's doing well. We also ran around to the grocery stores and bought a few things but the cupboards were pretty bare for fresh things since the boat hadn't been in for a week. We went over to let Molly visit the pigs at Big Major's. It has gotten to be quite the attraction for the tourists and the place was crowded with people on the beach and kids chasing the pigs and pigs chasing the kids. It is amazing at the number of big boats around, even more here than we saw at Shroud. There were a couple that looked like small cruise ships anchored out away from the main anchorage, being too big to get in there. Yesterday we came over to Pipe Creek and were surprised to see it fairly deserted. When we were here last it was packed. It is a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle down at Staniel. We plan to stay here a few days for snorkeling and exploring and then we'll head on down toward Georgetown.
