After arriving in Cairns our next mission was to provision for four months and meet the other rally participants. Some of them we knew and the others we were eager to meet. I can't tell you how many times we went to the grocery store. Way to many times. Travelling in Indonesia is lovely but the provisioning there is next to nil until we reach Singapore where we will be able to stock up once again. I think it took us at least five days to get the groceries listed out as to what we would need, find the brands we might like and then purchase them in small quantities because we are carrying everything on our backs. Then we discovered shopping on line with the grocery stores and the meat market and that changed everything. A gift for sure. We stocked up on everything we could think of and then the problem was where store everything. Task accomplished and hopefully we will be able to find the things we want when we want them, otherwise we will have surprises along the way.
