We headed west from Komodo Park and stopped at Wera hoping to stay overnight but it became obvious that there was a bad roll so we did a day stop and went ashore to see the local by hand boatbuilders at work. It was a small poor town with dirt roads and a few small shops. The boat boys were obnoxious and aggressive and Nancy stayed on the boat to insure that the kids did not come aboard or steal from either of the boats as we were buddy boating with our friends on Keyif. When we got back we left quickly for an overnight to Moyo Island.
