We awoke to 17* this morning-HEAVY FROST(see pic), winter is here!
Forecast for today 3-6" of snow, even Capt. Muttley took his morning constitutional on double time!
On roster for today: continue with home projects-kitchen spackling/painting, Bunny has started to decorate for Xmas- scaled down this year as we are trying to down size and the house is just too big to decorate as we did in years past. Our gran daughters are disappointed however they are getting older now and understand, also as they are not living with us and only visit they are not here to help as much as they were in years past-they have sooo much energy when helping to decorate!Another project on the docket is to separate/bring up coal for the coal stove(a necessary task to get through the winter here in NY.)

We still continue to follow the trials/tribulations and adventures of some of our cruising friends as they deal with everyday cruising issues ranging from anchors dragging, leaking prop shafts, groundings and enjoying the company of other cruisers they meet along the way! What an exciting Life cruising appears to be- Never a dull moment!

We are certainly looking forward to spring/warmer weather and retirement(tentatively set for June)

Well nothing will get accomplished with me posting on sail blogs, so.....
