Scott's getting projects done

Donna/Beautiful Hawaii weather
Scott did a great job on whipping up the ends of new jib sheets, don't you think? More pics in the gallery. We sailed 44 miles from Ali Wai to our quiet anchorage in Kaneohe Bay that s/v Pegasus told us about. This is day two of just relaxing and doing inside projects. Glad to be away from docks and especially cockroaches. Bought Hoy Hoy sticky pads and caught two buggers so far. Killed one that was in the cockpit under a rug while we were 10 feet up in the air at the yard. Wonder if he was new?
To sail into Palmyra you have to ask permission from Fish and wildlife so we're waiting to hear back from them. We have to show proof that our bottom was cleaned recently (I think a new bottom will count) plus we dive on it weekly anyways. THEN we have to pay Terminix to certify that we haven't any rats on board. You don't think I'd know if we had even one small one? Lance who works for Terminix said he'd take off $100 so it would only be $200 for the certification letter!! He knows its overkill for a 30-50 ft sailboat.
Again, check out our new pics!
