It was a bit scary at the Ok Coral today. We spent two nights at our close-to-the-sand bar/reef spot knowing we should be secure since the winds were consistently blowing us off the reef. Unfortunately the winds started gusting to 25-35 and we started to drag. We held just beyond our .25 mile boundary circle so we just keep checking and once we moved a second time, Scott decided to move the boat.

I was on the helm and we had a bit of drama getting the anchor off the bottom but overall, it was a calm situation other than yelling over the wind gusts.

This was the first time I was in phone contact and was able to capture the story and pictures onto facebook and now my blog. Modern technology, what would we do without it?
