Friday July 5
Lighter winds, still out of the NE, pushed out ETA to Bermuda back to Saturday morning. About 1000 we tacked onto port tack to get farther east, hoping to tack back to starboard by the end of the day and again lay St Georges. We had another round of sat phone calls this morning.
Around 1500 we were directly downwind of Bermuda. Both Anne and Don were certain they could smell the fragrance of lilies on the island. We tacked back to starboard tack around 1700, 80 miles out, the wind was still in the teens but getting lighter, so we wanted to close the distance with Bermuda.
