Alone except for my sidekicks

Well today is my first day of single handed transport. EJ is busy working and Ed T went back to Cleveland. Meghan will arrive next week, so it is just me and the 4 dolphins swimming beside me.
Having Ed onboard was wonderful, I learned how to tell that water was shoaling by the sound of your wake, I learned that I over trim sails and do not get the maximum efficiency out of them and filled my intellectual landfill with an immense amount of data on acoustics, farming and sailing trivia. The conversations were wonderful. We made 559 statute miles in 8 days, the longest being 85 miles.
I had the boat hauled at Jarret Bay Boat works, haul, pressure wash and re launch in less than 4 hours, the bottom looked good, but after cleaning, I picked up .5 knot speed over water, and reduced fuel burn by .05 gph. It also showed that even though we had a few bumps, all is in good shape.
This part of North Carolina had very limited cell coverage, so in-reach texting and Wi-Fi calling at night are my prime methods of communicating.
Again, this is a remote post, I will fix it up later.
