The wind changes our plans

We left Hamilton with the best of intentions, planning to stop at either Port Credit, Toronto or Cathedral Bluffs, these were highly recommended, and a reasonably short distance, about 20 miles from Hamilton. We planned for a short, but warm and bug filled day. However, around 11, as we were heading into Port Credit, the onshore filled in, the sails filled, and the bugs left.
New course set for Whitby, a very quaint little town designed for walking. Not much to do, one night here, but the point is "We were Sailing on Lake Ontario", and that was the reason we did this trip. We planned to explore Lake Ontario and do at least some of it under sail.
If the winds do not hold, we will catch those ports on the way back, and hope to meet up with Dick and Al. If they do, who knows.
Fair winds and following seas,
Ed and EJ
