New Year Greetings from these Freebirds. Sunny & hot here on the Andaman Sea. Water temp 88d, air about 102 leaving the cabin averaging around 95d. Cannot go barefoot on the decks ~ OUCH. Flat calm... a big thunderstorm ahead & looks like it has our name on it. Had 2 dolphin sightings & a few minutes of playing under our hulls. That is the best! We've had a few minor glitches since leaving on Thursday like the wind generator once again does not work. It spins & makes a huge racket but NO power to the batteries??? Luckily it helps to hold up the awning so it didn't go overboard ~ but it was very very close. Took us 2 days of bottom scrubbing, scrapping props, changing zinc's & cleaning that scummy water line before we could leave the Similians this morning. Figure we've gained a knot. No wind today though so we are motoring. That's a bummer considering we have a 3 day sail & fuel there in the Andamans is tough to come by.
