This time we left a little behind out group of 6 boats headed to FT La-de-da. We had the sails up as soon as we cleared the busy Sir Francis Drake channel in the BVI. We caught up quickly.

Unfortunately we failed to get any Bonine before we left. This is Pamela's go to motion sickness treatment of choice. I don't take any and feel a little woozy here and there but not bad like Pamela. Special thanks to Tom Schnefke who texted me most of last night every homiopathic solution he could think of, including acupuncture! Its Mothers day today and had hoped Pamela may have felt better. She did pep up a bit for the 'lady's radio net' on the SSB radio we use with our fleet.

200 down, 800 to go. We're just starting to run down the north shore of Hispanola and we've been told to give the fishing fleet at the west end in Haiti a wide berth since they are not likely to be lit. Came through a cold front this morning around 0200 that was quite the lighting show and POURED buckets as my Mom would say. Thankfully no one was hit by lightning. One of the boats reported catching a 36" mahi-mahi just at sunset last night and promptly sat down and ate it even though they had just finished dinner - sushi!
