We sailed the boat to Ft Lauderdale last Monday. Nice trip with following seas & good wind. Had a pod of 4 dolphins swimming with & around the boat for over 30 min. Beautiful creatures! They first came alongside us & 2 were watching me at the helm for a several minutes before the others joined them. They stayed with us while we were doing 7 1/2 mph. Then the wind dropped a bit, we slowed down to 6 1/2 mph & they decided to keep going.

After waiting out 4 days of nasty winds, we sailed down to Miami. We're now waiting for a weather window to open up for the Gulf Stream crossing. I'm hoping the end of this week will see an improvement, but it's not looking very good. ): Still, we're working out the live-aboard life, although Windy still insists on being taken to shore twice a day.
