After a fantastic downwind reach in large following seas, we've now arrived on the island of Paros where we pick up Karen & Bud tomorrow afternoon. 90% of the Mykonos sand was washed off the boat immediately after we arrived and had access to freshwater. While our friends and family back home anxiously await all the details about the new iPhone, we'll spend the next 24 hours tidying up before our guests arrive. Tyler is moving from his spacious forward cabin to the pullman cabin where he'll sleep on the lower bunk. It's a bit like moving from home into a tiny college dorm room so this is only appropriate since all of his friends have recently done that very same thing!
A touch of Fall is in the air now and the evenings are getting cooler. It's a welcome change from the oppressive heat that we had just a few week ago, but I suspect we'll be wearing long sleeves and complaining about the chilly temps soon enough.
We'll be spending the next 3-5 days on Paros before continuing our journey south towards Milos where Karen & Bud will disembark late next week. After that, we'll begin working our way towards Turkey where Interlude will stay for the winter.
