Arrived Milos

We're now on the island of Milos where Karen & Bud will disembark tomorrow. Arrived late this afternoon after an early morning departure from an idyllic overnight anchorage at Despotika Bay near Antiparos. Our day also included a 2 hour stopover at Faros, a small seaside community on the SE corner of Sifnos, where everyone went ashore and swam.
These past several days have seen a return to normalcy aboard Interlude after our dingy mishap and the ensuing aftermath. The dinghy itself as well as the engine are being repaired on Paros and we will return in approximately 1 week's time to retrieve both items. In the meantime, we were extremely fortunate that Yannis, the harbormaster back at Naousa (Paros), had an Avon 310 RIB with a 9.9hp outboard that he was willing to loan us. Very generous indeed! There have actually been several strokes of good luck following this unfortunate incident and I'll share that story in its entirety sometime in the days to come.
