We left Lake Santa Barbara early so as to hit the bridges before some of them close for morning traffic. Our destination is New River Marina, which is downtown Ft. Lauderdale. We find out it is a REAL PITA to get to the docks, as it is very narrow and a ton of traffic. It is located directly in front of the jail, and adjacent to a sidewalk with benches, which are the beds for the homeless at night. There are no facilities and very little support, but lots of rules. Needless to say I am not very fond of it!!
