All in a day's Work
23 December 2016 | Benures Bay, Norman Island
I do most of the photography here so Janaki ends up as the model/victim rather a lot.... we have had a spell of lighter winds so we have been doing as much diving as we can. This, and the post-dive soak, are very tiring so a nap is generally needed.
Most of the potential anchorages in the BVI have been very deliberately blocked out with $30 per night moorings and that adds up over several weeks but we have found a delightful Bay on Norman that has been spared and we are anchored there, probably for Christmas at this point. The neighbors seem nice so I'm sure there will be some social stuff.
We are pretty much ready to head east at this point but there do not appear to be any good conditions until early January and it is likely to blow hard until then so I guess we will get to see if we can dive safely in 20kts+ and get some of the inevitable boat projects done.
We hope you are all well and have a very enjoyable holiday.
