Happy Canada Day

Sally a sticky hot mess of a day
Happy Canada Day to our neighbors to the North!!
We've been busy on the S/V Light Reach and our net access miserable at best and non existent at most. Typing furiously before the masses awake to try to get a post out and this is my second attempt this morning. We've been polishing, cleaning and installing. The port side is almost complete in the polish task and looking very good. The new Dodger is on and partly fastened waiting for the sun to stretch her a bit before finishing that up, we, made a visit to Davis's pub for crab cakes and most important we've been out for a good sail with the new sails. She sails like a dream we only had 5 to 10 knots Whoo hoo! Speedy. The boat settled in nicely and it was a lovely day. Right now we are watching a weather system coming up from the south which may affect our July 4th plans. The picture is of our new sails up while we were out. Its difficult to get a picture of us under sail as we are on the boat and the alternative is to get very wet :-)
Sorry about the picture for some reason sailblog is having trouble posting it I suspect our very slow internet connection may be the issue.
