Sally Sunny and Warm
Where does the time go?!?! Into August already does not seem possible. The travels of the crew of Light Reach continue. Attended the reunion, an interesting meeting, and I'll leave it at that. Somewhere in there was a warp in the time space continuum.
We have spent the last week spending quality time with our grand girls. My now I know why we have our children when we are young. We're going to need a month to recover. If we could only harness that energy we could forever end our dependence on foreign oil! They are a delight but a handful and like most siblings have their moments of total love, total hate and a competitive streak a mile wide. They are both expert negotiators each with their own style. They have already determined that Grandma is the soft touch and Pops is the hard liner.
And the things we do for love! Yesterday was a trip to the amusement park. Now where as I can sail without Mal de Mer for the most part, spinning on a tilt a whirl turns my inner ear into a maelstrom. How it was managed that Grandma got the ride and slide pass while Pops got the spectator is a mystery to me.... or not. So for all those rides where you must have a "responsible adult" I was the victim. And I was getting no sympathy from the little heathens. When I mentioned that the ride might make me nauseous the little loves moved to the opposite side of the car!! Talk about insult to injury. Then there were the water rides and park. Darn cold water that.
Tomorrow its off to Canada to see the God children and family. One more chapter of the land travel begins. Today's picture is of the grand girls. Chloe Kate on the left Audrey May on the right. CSO India trying desperately to escape the photo.
