Sally - Cloudy with no chance of meatballs
The internet woes continue although I have found that if I bring the computer up into the cockpit I get better reception. The blog doesn't like to post large picture files so I have been experimenting with how to make the image file size smaller with some success but its been frustrating. The glare off the screen in the cockpit makes it a real eye test to find the mouse cursor and see anything other than black and white. Today is more overcast so that is an advantage over the bright sunshine and there is a nice breeze blowing.
Life at the dock continues we have a number of projects on our lists that we would like to complete before shoving off in October. Plus there are the daily chores that anyone has no matter where they live like dinner and dishes and making the bed. One has to be a bit of a contortionist to make the berth. Our berth is in the bow of the boat offset to one side. It sits over a water tank, the holding tank and some storage area. Overhead is a hatch and the deck. A head banging experience if you are not cognizant. The clearance at the foot of the bed is only about two feet. I utilize it as flexing exercise.
One of the Captains projects has been to fabricate new port screens which is proving to be somewhat of a daunting task. We've been looking at the number of projects to complete between now and the time we shove off in October and the list seems to be growing exponentially. Time to get to it.
Today's picture is one that I attempted to resize, taken when we installed the new main sail.
