Bonnie and Pete invited us over to Q for dinner this evening. They had spent the day off the boat doing some provisioning at Publix and picking up some bits and bots at Home Depot. Pete had the project of constructing a white light for his dingy. Without getting into all the gory details and politics of what the FWC is doing down here to boaters , he was busy making his dingy compliant to regulations.
I spent the morning doing a few boat chores and had a rousing good time playing Mexican Train in the community center. I really enjoy the game and it's a fun way to meet some of the people in the harbor.
On our way to Q we came across another Pacific Seacraft in the Harbor David and Barbara on Pungo might have the boat name wrong but it does start with P. They had just arrived the day before. We had a lovely chat with them and hope to get together with them in the future. Its grand swapping stores with other owners and compare our boats.
Dinner on Q was another night of laughs and stories. We never seem to run out of things to talk about. Peter made his special meatloaf which was delicious and we enjoyed the evening immensely. It has been so much fun having them here.
The picture shows Q at anchor as we approached in our dingy. She is the motor yacht on the left side of the picture back toward the mangroves with the blue canvas.
