Exploring Ft Lauderdale

02 May 2016 | Las Olas Marina Mooring Field
Sally its Florida in May
Robin left this morning on her quest to find Kodi. I had a good size bag of laundry and the marina had a very nice air conditioned Laundromat. We went to the little French Bakery for an incredible breakfast before I tackled the wash. The Marina has a nice lounge and good wifi so I took advantage of that while the clothes washed. Good news came from Robin, Kodi had been found! He was stinky and in rough shape after being on the run for five days but he will be okay.
We asked Greg over to Light Reach for a simple supper of Spaghetti and Meatballs and said our Good byes. We would be leaving early in the morning while he stayed behind to wait for his son. We had a grand time with Robin and Greg and hope to sail with them again. They are looking towards the Bahamas next year too.
The picture was taken from Light Reach of the view from the mooring field across the ICW.
