We are aboard!! Finally at times I wasn't sure we would ever make it. Thursday and Friday were filled with errands. We stopped at the local libation store and stocked up on the adult beverages. I shopped Target for last minute sundries and a few more groceries. The Miata was vacuumed, windows and upholstery cleaned, covered with her car cover and Scott hooked up the solar panel that keeps her battery charged while we are away. I did the last loads of laundry. We packed the car to the rafters with our remaining things to go aboard. Last up was to clean the condo, pack the coolers and empty and clean the fridge. We did that this morning with an eye on making sure we had the car back to the rental company by 2 PM. We pulled out of the condo at 12:00 which was cutting it really close because we had to stop at the Marina and unload the car before we could return it. We literally threw the stuff on the boat, thankfully one of the dock hands took pity on us and brought the golf cart up loaded up a ton of stuff and helped us get it aboard. India was rather unceremoniously tossed down below and we headed out to return the car. We got there with 5 minutes to spare only to discover the office closed at 12;00. LOL we only needed to drop the keys and paperwork in their afterhours box. We caught the local taxi back (anywhere in Martin county for 15 dollars) and proceed to try to find places for all the stuff, Scott lamenting about his waterline the entire time. We did manage to find spots for everything. By the time we had it all stowed we were dead tired. The plan was to leave tomorrow morning but with us both being exhausted and me wanting to see if I can get my charts copied from the IPad to the chart plotter we nixed that idea. Our weather window is going to be tight, we have a 4 night 5 day trip to get to Marathon with 3 of the 4 days on the outside. Right now it looks doable but the weather forecast is subject to change and the whims of Mother Nature.
We were so busy running around and getting settled I didn't take any photos, this one is of the Boynton Inlet taken on my last run before we shoved off.
