Spending Time in FLL

It poured rain yesterday. We had walked down to the strip that runs along the beach. We went to the CVS to pick up some things and ended up going for an early dinner at the Atlantic Beach Club. Only okay and they allow folks to smoke in the outdoor restaurants here. Ugh.
Today was much brighter and by the time we had hauled ourselves out of bed Eloise had left. Her mooring wasn't empty for long as another sailboat picked it up
We walked over to the French bakery for breakfast. We need to get out of here soon or we will both put back on the weight we lost in the islands. LOL We decided to spend part of the day on the beach. It was crowded with vacationers and we enjoyed an afternoon of people watching.
Scott twisted my arm and we ended up back at Coconuts for dinner where he repeated his dinner of Rib Eye sandwich while I had fish tacos. We pulled the dingy up on deck after we got back so we can be ready to leave early tomorrow. The Las Olas bridge opens on the quarter hour and we want to be through the 6:45 opening. Sixteen bridges and 40 nm to get to Lantana and our dock will make for a long day.
The picture was taken at Ft Lauderdale Beach.
