Last night on board in the BVI

The trip across Sir Frances Drake channel to Road Town was a great sail and all too soon we were pulling into the dock and tying up That Way for our final night aboard. We were all a little short of cash (there was a real lack of places to get it in the islands) so we walked into town to try and find an ATM and have some lunch. The one at the Rite Way was out of service. We did find the restaurant which didn’t seem to have a name, it was part of a tennis and sport club of some kind. We did have a nice lunch. Paul and Janet headed toward town in search of that elusive ATM. Scott and I stopped in to the Rite Way and picked up a couple of things for dinner and then stopped at Tico’s for a bottle of rye. We had done a pretty good job of going through the majority of our provisions for the week. Always a goal when chartering to use up the provisions.
We got the boat settled, returned our borrowed gear and packed for the trip home. The time had flown!
The picture is of Glenn John our favorite bartender of the trip! It was taken at Hendo’s Hideaway on Jost.
