Cars and Dodgers

We’ve had another set back, Scott was out getting a Sunday paper yesterday when a woman T-boned him while running a stop sign. Fortunatelyno one was hurt but the car has a nasty dent in the right rear door and quarter panel. She did accept responsibility for the accident and thankfully had insurance. At least 38% of Florida drivers do not have insurance. Yes it’s illegal but it is common here. Something to think about when you travel to Florida on vacation and rent a car.
We had to rent a car while ours is in the shop. They’ve given us a full size car for the cost of a compact but we don’t have rental coverage on our insurance so we’ll have to go after her insurance to recoup the cost.
I have finished the Dodger and we’ve decided installing it on the hard is probably the best anyway. Both of us have studied the Sailrite video for the best way to do its final fitting. Unfortunately somewhere between Annapolis and here we lost our tool for putting the fasteners into the canvas. I ordered another and installation has begun.
The picture shows Scott working on the installation, note the tools on the coach roof.
