Bright and early they were ready to put Light Reach in the slings and bring her down the hell to the well. We were up at dawn to get the ladder down and her set for the lift. Your heart is in your mouth when she is in the slings. All went well with the exception of where we were supposed to go once in the water. We had made arrangements prior for two nights docking but Antoinette really had no place for us to go. Both of the slips available were not tenable for us. We ended up at the gas dock but it was clear they did not want us to stay there two nights. It worked out the only boat that wanted fuel was there before we moved around the corner from the launch well. We weren't really sure where we were going to go as the mooring field in Stuart was reportedly full. In talking with Danielle (GypSea) who was being launched the next day there was room at the campground docks just west of the St Lucie lock. I inquired about the water depth since the docks are close to shore. Seems there should be enough. She gave me the number to call. Tonight we're sitting on the face dock at the marina. It certainly does feel good to be in the water
