Happy Birthday Audrey

Sally | working in the heat
Happy Birthday Audrey! We have a teenage granddaughter. Lordy, where has the time gone? It’s all spinning by way too fast. We love her to bits but would like to slow down time. We did postpone our launch date now slated for Nov 13. The storm is expected to hit us tomorrow so we will hunker down in the condo for the event. We had installed the bimini but took it back off today so the wind wouldn’t take it away. We aren’t in the direct path but will have high winds and loads of rain. We have gotten the bottom painted and the sides are washed but not yet polished. Robert and Tip on Eudora are in the yard with us. It has been wonderful for Scott to have someone other than me to talk with, masked and socially distanced of course. George is on the dock in Gracie and Tim has just splashed Gypsy Soul after 17 months in the yard . It is so good to be around boat folks again and a real plus for the Captain’s mood. These past months since March have been hard on all of us.
The picture is the birthday girl. We were sorry not to be able to attend the event.

Scott and Sally met in college, married and lived the average dirt dweller life for years always somewhere near the water. We fell in love with sailing in the early 90's. Summer of 2014 we both retired and became full time cruisers. [...]
