Slight Front

Karl
A few more squalls ahead of yet another front. Rolled up the jib early this time, but probably didn't need to. Some rain, some lightning, but no thunder, and little wind. By 0400, the barometer had dropped from 1011 to 1007, but there still is not much wind, and light to moderate rain.

At 0800, we are in light airs again, and I shake out the reef. At 1000, I got up and fried a flying fish and an egg for breakfast.

Pedaled in the morning to top off the batteries in the overcast. By afternoon the sun was out again, and the weatherfax satellite photo seemed to show that we were past the frontal system.
