Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away

Donna
The city of St. Augustine was founded in 1565 and boasts that it is the oldest city in the country. A Spanish colonist by the name of Don Pedro Menendez de Aviles took over a Native American fishing village and converted it into a fort to battle the French that were in Jacksonville at that time. Today, the city has retained its Spanish heritage.

We spent Tuesday walking around the Castillo de San Marcos in historic St. Augustine as well as the colonial district. It is very well kept and there are a lot of tourists that are bused in for city tours.

Wednesday, we walked over to Anastasia Island to visit the St. Augustine lighthouse. Afterward, we caught up on laundry, and filled the fuel and water tanks.

The Kid (taken from the movie, "Secondhand Lions"), as we affectionately refer to Morgan, has come a long way in two and half weeks. He has learned a lot, probably more than he wanted to in some aspects. We are proud to announce that he has been promoted to Swabby! He has practiced his knots daily and was quickly able to master the basic ones, using the cleat hitch in a very proficient and timely manner when it was needed. Of course, with the promotion, he feels he doesn't need to learn anything else. Ah, the young.
The good news is that I finally heard the two words I've been waiting to hear: "I'm full."!
