Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away

High and Dry

Donna
We've been in Fort Pierce now for one week and "on the hard" since Tuesday. We are out of the water for minor repairs and are getting other projects done. Scott and Morgan have been waxing the hull and topsides and it looks great! We have depleted most of the meals I had prepared before leaving Georgia, so, I am replenishing those stores. Sam's Club and Costco are nearby, which helps. The weather has been nice, so, we have stayed on the boat. We just got word this afternoon that repairs should be finished tomorrow morning and we will be put back in the water sometime tomorrow. Tomorrow night is the boat parade of lights and it goes right past where we were anchored! Hopefully, the anchorage won't be full and we will have a front row seat.

We are also now watching weather forecasts for our next leg. We will either make a 10-hour run to Palm Beach or a 24-hour run to Biscayne Key, just south of Miami. Passageweather.com is showing a favorable forecast for Monday through Thursday. That should allow us to get all the way to Marathon in Boot Key, where we will stay for the next month. We may not have regular internet while we are traveling, but, we have good cell phone reception offshore and can receive email.

Follow us on SPOT and we'll post more when we get to the next hot spot. All is well.
