Sunday, October 10th 2021: First full day of our visit to Maryland found us playing tourist and visiting some lighthouses along the Chesapeake Bay. We drove South from Annapolis to the Solomon Islands area to walk around downtown and visit the Drum Point Lighthouse. We then continued South, passing through the town of California to arrive at the Piney Point Lighthouse. Turning back North we caught a glimpse of the Cove Point Lighthouse (closed for the season) and then back to Annapolis for dinner. Weather was 75 degrees and drizzly. Tomorrow (Monday), Sue will be working from the hotel room while Dan continues to enjoy degenerate life of retirement.
