After arriving in Tauranga I had to take another trip to fetch our car. This is the problem with having the car and boat and moving far distances. I had to take another 4 hour bus ride up to Auckland. I had a few items to return at some stores up there and then I drove straight back. I always have grand plans to stop along the way but in reality once I get driving I just want to get where I'm going...besides what fun is it to go sight seeing without Mark.

While we have been doing a lot of boat work to get ready to pull the boat out I did find some time to enjoy a little Christmas and have a little fun. I was in serious need of some Christmas cookies! This is the best part about living on a boat. Even though we are traveling and away from home we are always at home and I can enjoy some traditional activities like baking Christmas cookies. A couple of weeks ago I found a set of nautical cookie cutters and just couldn't pass them up. I couldn't get Mark to help in the baking or decorating but he did help plenty in the eating!!!
