Our friend from San Carlos, Ned, knocked on Raven in the morning since I had emailed him (yes we get internet access on the boat) to tell him we were here and we hung out and then met up with him later for dinner after moving Raven over to another spot for the next 2 weeks. It's nice to see real, healthy palm tress again and know we won't have to go any where for a while. We continued the clean up and then had a very fun evening in town with Ned. We took the bus in and Ned showed us new parts of Mazatlan - Plaza Machado that has a heavy 1700 colonial French influence- very neat. Then we went to a Canadian Gringo bar to chat and listen to music. We also heard from SV Sweetie, other friends from San Carlos, who are here and planned a get together tomorrow!
