Feliz Diciembre!

01 December 2008 | El Salvador and New Mexico
by the Landlubber
Scott made it safely and uneventfully down to El Salvador! Though when he got to the hotel to take a room for the night, late, no one seemed to know anything about the reservation he had made. NO biggy though - it wasn't like there wasn't any rooms they just had to wake someone up to let him in! Ah, WELCOME TO EL SALVADOR! His room had no screens nor a working fan or air conditioning - not making for a Happy Scott, ya know the one who doesn't like bugs and hot weather. Alas it was nothing a few hours (and a couple of beers) couldn't fix. Besides it wasn't like he had to sleep in a stable full of animals with his pregnant virgin wife or anything.
It was super strange for both of us to have him call me from the dock-side restaurant we spent so much time at together only a couple of months ago. Ya just never know how life will go on.
