Hola Raven

News from El Salvador: Scott (and I) are happy to report Raven looks good! She has weathered the summer in El Salvador, or is it their Winter? Murry and Ceil took great care of her and the outboard engine did not get stolen off the boat! Bats have taken up in the mainsail cover and I think Scott should start a bat-guano exporting business but he isn't sure there is a market for it. It turns out that there are a lot of familiar faces there for not only social interaction but help (ya know all those things that Cheryl helped with) as well. Sailors are such a friendly and helpful lot! Ironically the sailors who were helping guide boats in over the bar chanced going over themselves at less than high-tide and 'kissed the bottom' (those sailors are always kissing when they shouldn't be) and found out later that part of their rudder decided to stay on said bar (broken off). Ah, the sailing life (NOT) for me.
Other News: we receive another email inquiring about purchasing Raven. Yeah, yeah. I am holding my breath. Roger and Mia have finally de-ornamented the Christmas tree in less than 24 hours- maybe I should put them back on so they can entertain themselves for another 24 hours. Work has slowed down again. It was fun having people come in the store.....
