We have guests on Reverie who have never been on a boat other than a ferry. I always wonder if they will like it. I don't know why, because everyone who has ever been on our boat has been nothing but enthusiastic about their experience. Needless to say, they loved it! We veered over to see the Puffins and the Sea Lions before we sailied across the straight to tie up at the dock at Newcastle Island . We hopped in the dinghy for dinner at the Dinghy Dock Pub and a view of the sail races. We did a bit of shopping at Nanaimo Boat Basin and enjoyed a stunning full moon in the comfort of the cockpit. What a day with great people!
