Monica
We are spending the few days between guests doing a few chores like laundry and cleaning and walking. Rod and Jane left on Wednesday after a great, wonderful, terrific visit. Really, we had such a good time with them. Sunday we rent a car and drive over to Cabo to pick up Craig and Marian Henderson who will be here for a week.

We are looking forward to sharing the city of La Paz with them. The weather predictors have a norther blowing in on Monday - Wednesday so we hope it clears enough to get at least a couple of days out in the islands.

If you were wondering why the heck we (and everyone else here) hides when the wind blows, I mean after all, isn't this a sail boat? Well, here in the Sea of Cortez the fetch is a few hundred miles long and the seas build to steep, square, short duration waves which make for very wet and uncomfortable sailing conditions. And not to mention the rolly anchorages as the fetch wraps around corners.

So, we'll listen to the weather and hope for the best.
