Tidal Wave damage

14 March 2011 | La Cruz
Monica
I pirated this photo of the broken docks here at the La Cruz Marina from Lattitude 38 online.

These docks were right inside the entrance where max surge was happening. As you can see they are broken up pretty badly. By the way, these docks are only 2 years old so they weren't rotten to start with.

We stand by our decision to head to sea and believe any prudent marinier would do the same; heck if the US Navy, the Mexican Navy both ordered their ships to sea thats good enough for me!

All is well here. We're looking at being here through the 21st for work reasons then looking for a weather window to head back North. The only time frame we have is Loreto Fest the last week of April.

One week to Spring so those folks at home know that means the rain will be warmer! Here in the south lands we are seeing day time temps into the 80's some days the high 80's. Nights have warmed up to about 60. It won't be too long before the down comforter is off the bed!
