We've been here for 3 days and are just lovin it! We love the color of the water, the solitude, warm and dry air, and the clarity of the water. We are struggling with no cell coverage or internet. After being available 24/7 for the past couple months to not have either cell or internet coverage tears at you when you are dying to hear how things are up north. We had an email from one of our daughters to call when possible that one of her friends had committed suicide. That is the hard part of this life. You are needed as a parent and you can't get there from here. At this point with two kids in their 20's and one 18 they are pretty independent; that is until they need you! You want to be everything and always there but it isn't possible. A struggle of the heart.

We are doing beach walks, sitting in the sun and reading books and just hanging. Oh, we do boat chores, we've touched up varnish washed and wiped the stainless and other maintenance items. Tomorrow we up anchor and head to the next anchorage north, Los Muertos. It will be about an 8 hour trip but I think we'll have cell coverage if not internet as well.

The water is cool about 67 but as the days get warmer so does the water and at some point it will be refreshing to jump in.
