Summer Update

31 July 2011 | Puerto Escondido
Monica
It has been a couple weeks since we’ve updated the blog. The obvious reason is that we are out in the islands away from cell phone/internet and the other is that we’ve been having way too much fun to sit in front of a laptop.

Since Scott’s return and resumption of his Capitan’s duties we have been snorkeling, swimming and just enjoying the time. It is starting to get very warm during the days requiring that we spent hours in the water. The water however is also heating up so it is becoming less and less refreshing. In Salinas we felt the warmest water we’ve ever felt outside of the shower or hot tub. It was hot flowing up my legs as I wadded.

Scott had a great birthday. Lynsie and I baked him a cake, I smuggled down a netbook for him as his present which totally blew him away and he got to pick the menu for the day. He had a one pan mess for breakfast which is roughly a one pan egg scramble with whatever is in the fridge. For dinner we had spaghetti and red wine, birthday cake for dessert.

We are currently back in Puerto Escondido for Saturday and Sunday then come Monday morning we’ll head back out to parts to be named once we decide.
