I’m Back!

At long last I’ve returned to Mexico. Let’s see where did I leave things off……Mom is doing great, after a trip to the hospital and a new stent installed she is a new woman. She is moved into and getting settled in her new place and I felt good about leaving. My project in Alaska got closed and is now under construction which freed me up to leave town.

Our plan is now to keep the boat here in Mexico and have negotiated a year lease on our slip at Marina Palmira. So, yeah, we’re staying and with Mom doing better I feel good about doing the split year between Everett and La Paz. Our two oldest daughters are also pleased as they had planned for additional vacations to Mexico on the boat.

So, we are now getting the boat ready for hurricane season, stripping off everything that can be taken off and will then go spend 10 days in Cabo for a much needed vacation arriving back in Washington June 15th.

We are done with long periods of time spent apart. We don't like it! A week or so is fine but we've spent about 2 weeks together over the past 2 months and it just wasn't fun!
