We arrived last week back to our winter wonder grounds, Mexico. Our flight and 2 days in San Jose del Cabo was perfect and the boat was waiting for us with a little surprise courtesy of our friends. The first view of our boat found it wrapped in yellow tape sending Scott into cardiac arrest. Given the recent boat impounding and importation mess going on he has been losing sleep while away from the boat worried we’d be impounded because no one would be on board to supply any missing paperwork. After he recovered from that sight and realized it was a prank we went down below and found empty beer cans, naked girlie playing cards and other assorted remnants of a wild party. Of course this also was staged by our friends …….you know who you are and payback is coming! It actually was a great homecoming and made us feel like we were indeed missed and now we are home.

Now that we have been back long enough to fill the boat with groceries and water we pick up a friend flying in this afternoon and we’ll take him out to the islands for a day or so. The weather has been very settled with temperatures in the low 80’s and nice breezes we just have to get out there.
